This compact clamp is made in the USA, VERY well built, small enough to fit in you pocket.

It allows a camera or camcorder that has a tripod mount, to be solidly attached to a table, car window, handlebar, skateboard, hand glider, tree branch, park bench, shopping cart, so on and so forth (you get the idea), using a standard 1/4"-20 threaded quick connect screw, just like any camera tripod. Strong enough for most cameras or camcorders, it attaches to either round or flat objects from 0" to 1.5" thick, with rubber on both sides of the clamp, it will not scratch or slip. It utilizes a ball and socket mount to allow the camera maximum flexibility in framing the subject.

(More customer reviews)My first thought when I saw this item was that it was PRICEY! It's smaller than your hand and still cost almost 30 dollars. However, now that I have received it and used it, I am eating my words. It is VERY strong and VERY stable. I cant imagine this breaking under any circumstances. The variety of angles you can get with this is impressive. I have a samsung smx-c14 with the tilted lense and it works great with the superclamp. It is obviously a quality product that is well designed, compact, and efficient.
I would recommend this to anyone that likes to experiment with camera angles and mounting positions. You can use it to put your camera in places and positions previously unreachable. I look forward to using it surveillance camera style. Buy one, you won't regret it.

(More customer reviews)Although this case is a little bulky, it easily fits into another bag, hangs from your shoulder, or hangs from your belt. It is roomy on the inside with several pockets and soft insides to protect and store all your "stuff". Comes with a battery charger, mini cable (which is very handy), and a tiny tripod which is fine for the ultra because it is so lightweight. The outer case is hard, with a zipper, and is water resistant. So rain won't mess up your camera. And, if it falls overboard, it will float. Very happy with this purchase.
